Radio Calls for begginers

A lot of newer students struggle with radio calls. At first it seems like a completely different language. I have tried to include some basic radio calls specifically for our airport.

The" before start" checklist has a passenger briefing on the list of things that must be accomplished, but what exactly do you need to do when you get to that part? This is a good guideline to follow or use as a base to create your own.

Being Prepared

Make sure you show up to each training lesson prepared. No one likes to waste time, especially if you are the one paying for that wasted time. Here's a great list of ways to be prepare for each lesson.

Instrument Check

Before you depart, you will be doing an instrument check to make sure all the instruments are working properly. Here is a good verbiage to use when saying you  instrument check out loud (which I suggest always doing).
