When coming in for a flight (or sim) Training
Make sure you have all your items needed for the flight
- iPad (charged to at least 80%)
- Working Headset (with batteries if needed)
- Correct and legible ATP checklist (for the aircraft you will be flying)
- View Limiting Device (if doing any instrument flying)
Review the lesson on white board
- Read through each section to get an idea what will be expected of you.
- Do all the required self-study prep reading and modules.
- Look at elements and make sure you understand what each element is because those will be objectives that will be accomplished during the flight or sim.
- Understand what the completion standards are so you know what standards you will be held to during the flight or sim.
Arrive around 30 mins – 60 mins early to allow plenty of time to do all airworthiness requirements and preflight inspection. You’re scheduled time is your departure time, not the time you arrive.
